Interventions

Intervention1: Blood testing for hormonal investigations: Baseline cortisol and ACTH would be tested. Patient would undergo repeat hormonal investigations next day after administration of 1mg of dexam

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Newly diagnosed cushings Cushings post surgery or radiotherapy Chronic active hepatitis Depressive disorder CKD stage 4 and 5 Women on oral contraceptive pills Healthy controls

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exogenous cushings Drugs affecting dexamethasone metabolism Pregnancy and breastfeeding Acute illness Liver cirrhosis
