Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients fulfilling diagnostic criteria and confirmed by inspection as having Acute as well as Chronic Fissure in Ano. Patient of either gender of age between 20- 60 years. Patients of parikartika having systemic diseases like HTN and DM which are well under control by medication is also included. Fissure in ano associated with first- and second-degree haemorrhoids are also included. Pregnant and Lactating females are also included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Fissure in Ano secondary to ulcerative colitis, chron’s diseases, syphilis, HIV, HbsAg, tuberculosis, Ca of rectum. Fissure in ano associated with other ano rectal disorders like Third-degree and Fourth-degree Haemorrhoids, fistula in ano, Perianal Abcess are also excluded.
