Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.ASA grade I and II 2.Non hypertensive 3.Non obese 4.MPC I and II 5.Surgeries lasting for at least upto 2 hours and not beyond 4 hours 6.Elective surgeries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Refused to participate in study 2.Patients with nasogastric tube 3.Contraindication to use of nitrous oxide 4.MPC III and IV 5.Hypertensive patients 6.Asa III and more 7.Short surgeries( duration less than 2 hours) 8.Day care surgeries 9.Emergency surgeries 10.Neck surgeries involving handling of airway
