Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Those between 18 and 80 years of age, who gave written informed consent, and who were mentally and physically fit up to a minimum level to understand and perform yoga practices were included. CKD patients under treatment (both non-dialysis and undergoing dialysis) CKD patients with diabetes type 2/ hypertension controlled with medications CKD patients are advised to continue their present medications as prescribed by the doctor. Yoga practices will be added as complimentary along with medications. Participants were told to practice yoga regularly for at least 6 days a week for 50–60 min a day. All Yoga practices are not mandatory, if the patient is not able to do it.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Those aged less than 18 years and above 80 years. Individuals with ischemic heart disease, post-coronary artery bypass grafting, comorbid coronary artery disease, single working kidney, congenital renal malformations, or a history of past carcinoma are excluded from the study. Either anxiety and depression questionnaire or any one among anxiety or depression questionnaire should be diagnosed positive with the respective questionnaire 1. Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A)-Patients scoring 0 score while using the questionnaire should be excluded 2. PHQ-9 Patient Depression Questionnaire - If the combined score for the -very difficult/extremely difficult- (grades 2 or 3) is fewer than 2 ticks should be excluded
