Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient willing to give consent Hemodynamically stable Scheduled for lower limb orthopaedic surgeries under subarachnoid block

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with arrhythmias, severe mitral or tricuspid regurgitation, severe aortic regurgitation Cardiac dysfunction, cerebrovascular disease and pulmonary edema Patients having diabetes Patients with BMI more than 30kg.m-2 When inadequate subarachnoid effect will be obtained and the anaesthesia will be converted into general anaesthesia.

To study the effect of sub-arachnoid block (SAB) on the corresponding changes in the diameter of internal jugular vein v/s subclavian vein in patients undergoing lower limb orthopaedic surgeries under SAB.Timepoint: 60years

a) To determine the predictive value of IJV-CI and SCV-CI in relation to the hypotension post subarachnoid block. b) Correlation of the IJV-CI and SCV-CI in the perioperative period c) Effect of preloading/co-loading on the IJV-CI and SCV-CI. Timepoint: 60years
