Intervention1: Incentive Spirometry: 15 minute session twice a day along with diaphragmatic breathing exercise(10reps) for 6 days per week Control Intervention1: Active chest mobilization techniques:

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Confirmed medical diagnosis of type-2 diabetes mellitus and who are on oral hypoglycemic drugs not on insulin therapy, history of more than 6 months of diabetes, all participants confirmed by HbA1c level 6.5% or higher, non smokers and non alcoholic.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with pre-existing pulmonary infections, Subjects with co-morbidities like COPD, glaucoma, type-1 diabetic, Patients with severe complications of DM such as neuropathy, nephropathy, retinopathy.Patients having any deformity in the trunk, Patients diagnosed by physician with mental illness, psychiatric disorder, cognitive impairments
