Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18-65 years, belonging to ASA 1 or 2, with BMI between 18 to 35 kg/m2 ,undergoing elective laparoscopic Cholecystectomy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Preexisting coagulation disorders 2. Morbid obesity ( >35 kg/m2) 3. Local infection at the site of injection 4. Any known drug allergies

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1 . Duration of analgesia (from the time of administration of block to the time of first rescue analgesia ) 2. Quality of analgesia ( VAS score)Timepoint: The duration of analgesia & the quality of analgesia will be assessed after arrival of patient in recovery room at 15 min, 30 min , 1 hour,1.5 hour,2 hour,4 hour , 6 hours.

MeasureTime frame
1.Hemodynamics parameters ( heart rate , SBP,DBP , MAP, SPO2) . 2. Adverse effects ( Hypotension,nausea & vomiting) Timepoint: The hemodynamic parameters & adverse effects will be assessed after arrival of patient in recovery room at 15 min, 30 min , 1 hour,1.5 hour,2 hour,4 hour , 6 hours.
