Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Essential hypertensive patients will be included in the study. 2. Patients visiting health care clinic for routine health checkup. 3. Voluntarily agrees to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Hypertensive patients with other co-morbidities and other chronic disease. 2. Critically ill patients.

MeasureTime frame
This study will help to understand the knowledge, Attitude and Practices of hypertensive patients concerning hypertension and lifestyle habits. Consumption of sodium, potassium and calcium rich foods will be assessed. Dietary intake will be assessed and compared to the DASH diet. Timepoint: At baseline
