Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients willing to undergo orthodontic treatment. 2)Full permanent dentition excluding the third molars 3)Good general health with no co-morbidities

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Systemic diseases, including chronic or metabolic diseases 2)Pregnant and lactating women 3)Congenital craniofacial deformity and syndromes, including cleft lip and palate 4)History of antibiotic or anti-inflammatory drug therapy in the past 7 days.
