Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. 18 to 50 years of age 2. Length of ICU stay > 48 hours

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients having acute coronary syndrome 2. Patients with acute burn injuries 3. Patients with terminal cancers

To compare the accuracy of Sequential Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA) score alone & Sequential Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA) score with D-DIMER as outcome predictor among critical sick patients in ICU.Timepoint: SOFA Score alone And SOFA Score with D-dimer Measurement at 0(time of admission), then every 48hrs up until 15 days.

To determine outcome at 15th day as survivor or non-survivor. Timepoint: SOFA Score alone And SOFA Score with D-dimer Measurement at 0(time of admission), then every 48hrs up until 15 days.
