Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA I and II Mallampati grade I and II BMI 18.5 to 24.9 kg per meter square patients willing to give informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: history of upper respiratory tract infection in previous 2 weeks baseline heart rate less than 60 beats per minute baseline systolic blood pressure less than 60 mm Hg patients on any medications altering study parameters pregnant women
