Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.All patients more than 18 years old undergoing major non cardiac surgery. 2. Patients with no comorbidities and patients with well controlled systemic diseases without functional limitations like well controlled Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension, current smoker, social alcohol intake and obesity 3.American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade 1 and 2]

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with baseline coagulopathy (Platelet less than 150000 or deranged PT/INR) 2. Patients with underlying renal or hepatic diseases 3. Patients with preexisting head and neck tumors. 4. Patients with preexisting carotid artery disease. 5. Patients with severe Left Ventricular dysfunction (Ejection Fraction less than 30%)
