Intervention1: Intravenous Hydrocortisone 12.5 mg: Route is Intravenous. Dose is Hydrocortisone 12.5 mg after applying pressure 2cm proximal from the tip of Intravenous cannula, for a duration of 30 s

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients of either sex 2. Age 18 to 65 yrs 3. American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I & II.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient refusal 2. ASA physical status III & IV 3. Pregnant women 4. Intellectually challenged patients 5. Patients with a known history of allergy to heparin 6. Patients undergoing general anaesthesia 7. Patients on anticoagulants or bleeding diathesis.
