Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients aged more than 18 years and admitted in ICU with a diagnosis of sepsis or septic shock.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age less than18years

To find out association between abnormal venous doppler flow patterns of hepatic, portal, and intrarenal vein with the development of acute kidney injury.Timepoint: At Baseline

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- To evaluate the possible relation between venous doppler ultrasonography gradings and staging of acute kidney injury. To compare all cause mortality at 30 days between patients with normal and abnormal venous flow doppler.Timepoint: 30days
