Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients aged 18 to 60 years of either sex 2) Patients who are willing to participate after signing informed consent. 3) Clinically diagnosed patient of pityriasis versicolor. 4) KOH (potassium hydroxide) positive

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Subjects suffering from other concomitant skin diseases and taking treatment for them. 2 KOH (potassium hydroxide) negative. 3 Immunocompromised conditions like HIV Infection, AIDS and malignancy etc. 4 Patients of Diabetes Mellitus. 5 Any active psychiatric illness. 6 Any systemic diseases that will hamper the patient’s follow up like pulmonary or cardiovascular or hepato renal dysfunction. 7 Pregnant and lactating women.
