Intervention1: SMS(Short message services) reminders: Participants in the intervention group will receive SMS reminders regarding regular follow up and medication adherence - twice weekly for the firs

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: i. Patients diagnosed with psychotic disorders(F20-29) as per ICD-10 ii. Patients taking IP care after discharge shall be included in the study during follow up. iii. Age group 18-65 years. iv. Both genders.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: i. Patients with co-morbid substance use disorders except nicotine. ii. Patients on depot medications in psychiatry. iii. Lack of access to mobile phone in the family iv. Patient and/or caregiver cannot read and understand either English or Tamil.
