Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients aged between 18-70 years irrespective of their gender. 2.Patients presenting with signs and symptoms of Vataja shirorog described as per Ayurvedic literature. 3.Patients having signs and symptoms of tension type headache as per modern literature. 4.Professional stress leading to tension type headache.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Individual age more than 70 years and less than 18 years. 2Patients having signs and symptoms other than Vatika shiroroga( tension type headache). 3.Patients having any immunocompromised disease such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, tuberculosis, cancer or any other major disease. 4.Patients associated with history of head injury. 5.Secondary headache caused by sinus headache, meningitis, encephalitis, cervical spondylitis, refractive error and increased intra ocular pressure. 6.Patients suffering from major psychotic or neurological disorders. 7.Patients suffering from disorders of eye, ent, and dental diseases. 8.Patients of head tumor or surgical abnormalities associated with headache. 9.Patients having headache due to ajeerna (indigestion). 10.Patients having chronic tension type headache.
