Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease ( mild, moderate and severe stages)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Very severe exacerbation of COPD requiring critical care. Montreal Cognitive Assessment score less than 26. Lack of Functional vision and hearing. Musculoskeletal and neurological impairments affecting the mobility. Patients with active cancer. Patients with cardiovascular disease who cannot safely exercise.

Activities of Daily Living Basic and Instrumental Activities of daily living will be assessed by the scores of the three questionnaires (1 Lawton-Brody Instrumental Activities of Daily Living Questionnaire, 2 London Chest Activities of Daily Living Questionnaire 3 Kartz Activities of daily living Index) Functional capacity is the another primary outcome assessed using number of repititions of sit to stand completed in one minuteTimepoint: Baseline, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months
