Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age range 12 to 24 years irrespective of gender 2. Full permanent dentition from second molar to second molar in both arches 3. Angles class II div 1 or Angles Class I Deweys type 2 malocclusion on Class I skeletal base with mild-moderate crowding requiring first premolar extraction 4. Average growth pattern 5. Patients not having any medical history 6. Patients with positive informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Unfavourable or distally tipped canine position 2) History of previous orthodontic treatment 3) Crossbite 4) Deepbite more than 50 percent 5) Known syndrome Cleft lip and palate metabolic disorder affecting calcium or phosphate metabolism 6) Blood disorders 7) Platelet count less than normal 150000 per mcL of blood
