Intervention1: Short Stitch: In short stitch group 2-0 poly hydroxy butyrate suture with ½ circle 30 mm needle will be used..Initially, subcutaneous fat will be separated at least 1 cm on either side

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: i) Age between 18-70 years ii)Patient giving consent iii)Incision length more than 10 cm and less than 25 cm.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Concomitant midline incisional hernia. ii) Pregnant women iii) Patient on oral steroid therapy (corticosteroids) more than 2 weeks prior to surgery. iv) Prior midline abdominal incision. v) Chemotherapy within last 2 weeks before surgery vi) Radiotherapy of abdomen 8 weeks before surgery
