Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Children age of 6 months to 6 years. 2. Children having weight for age: 61-80% of expected weight for age of IAP Classification of Malnutrition. 3. Children having midarm circumference less than13.5 cm to 11.5 cm as per Shakirs tape. 4. Children having classical symptoms of Karshya.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Child below 6 months of age and more than 6 years of age. 2. Diagnosed case of premature babies, low birth weight, Heart disease, any metabolic disorders. 3. Children suffering from infectious diseases. 4. Children having HB% below 8 gm %. 5. Children having weight for age: more than 80% and less than 61% of expected weight for age of IAP classification of malnutrition.
