Interventions

Intervention1: Flash glucose monitor : Free style libre pro sensor will be applied on the patient ?s skin using applicator after observing standard precautions. It will be left in situ for 2 weeks.a

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children of age above 4 years with poorly controlled Type 1 diabetes as measured by HbA1C above 9 Gram %

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who have not given consent 2.Patients not willing to come for follow up

Primary

MeasureTime frame
HbA1C will be compared before and after dose titration using paired t test Timepoint: HbA1C will be estimated at baseline and at 12 weeks time, just before the application of Flash glucose monitor

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.Blood glucose Time in range 2.blood glucose Time in hypoglycemia will be compared using paired t testTimepoint: These will be measured at 2 weeks & at 14 weeks, at the time of sensor removal & its data capture
