Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Undergoing elective head and neck cancer surgery requiring nasotracheal intubation. 2. Patients of either sex willing to give consent. 3. Age group of age 20-60. 4. ASA grade I, II& III. 5. El-Ganzouri risk index (EGRI) 1- = 7.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Risk of gastric aspiration. 2. If more than 3 attempts taken to intubate. 3. Mouth opening less than 2.5 cm. 4. Patients difficult to mask ventilate. 5. History of difficult intubation
