Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All hemodynemically stable patients age less than 6 years of either sex requiring arterial monitoring posted for elective surgeries under generaL anaesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients whose parents or legal guardians refuse to provide consent will not be included. 2. Infection at the site of access. 3. Coagulopathy. 4. Shock. 5. Previous cannulation in same artery. 6. Peripheral vascular disease.
