Intervention1: Romovac suction drain: Romovac drain will be inserted intra operatively and will be kept in situ for 24 to 72 hours or until the drain output is less than 10ml in 24 hours

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with Benign thyroid disease (goitre), indeterminate (follicular neoplasm) or malignant disease (papillary, follicular) undergoing thyroidectomy
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients undergoing completion thyroidectomy, recurrent thyroid surgery, patients with radiation exposure associated thyroid swelling, cases in which neck dissection would be required
