Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with Benign thyroid disease (goitre), indeterminate (follicular neoplasm) or malignant disease (papillary, follicular) undergoing thyroidectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients undergoing completion thyroidectomy, recurrent thyroid surgery, patients with radiation exposure associated thyroid swelling, cases in which neck dissection would be required
