Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
to compare time taken for successful insertion of Igel versus Proseal Laryngeal Mask Airway(PLMA)Timepoint: 0 mins- baseline hemodynamic parameters heart rate, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, mean blood pressure. Time taken for securing the supraglottic airway from the time of insertion of laryngoscope blade to complete insertion of supraglottic airway in seconds At 1 min, 3 min, 5 mins, 10mins after insertion of supraglottic airway measurement of heart rate, systolic and diastolic blood pressure and mean arterial pressure is done.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
first attempt success rate hemodynamic parameters evidence of trauma while insertion, hemodynamic parameters like heart rate systolic & diastolic blood pressure, mean blood pressureTimepoint: hemodynamic parameters measured at baseline, 1min, 3 mins, 5 mins, 10 mins after securing airway
