Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing short duration surgeries Weight 10-30 kg ASAI and ASAII

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Parents’ refusal to participate Patients with previous upper airway surgery Anticipated difficult airway

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Primary outcome is to measure the correct placement of LMA using fibre optic bronchoscopeTimepoint: Baseline 15 min, 30 min, 45 min, 60 min, after extubation

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary outcomes measures are oropharyngeal leak pressure, ease of insertion & time taken for insertion, hemodynamics,failure of insertion, & complications like blood on the LMA & sore throat.Timepoint: Baseline, intraoperatively & postoperatively
