Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Fasting blood sugar more than 126 upto 250. Post prandial blood sugar more than 200 upto 300. Patient of non-insulin depended diabetes mellitus. Newly diagnosed cases of Diabetes mellitus type -2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient of Diabetes mellitus type - 1 will be excluded Patient who are not fit for Basti karma will be excluded.

It is expected that at the end of the study we would be able to demonstrate the effect of Panchtikta Panchprasrutik Basti and Triphaladi kashayam in the management of Prameha w.s.r Diabetes Mellitus type -2Timepoint: on 13th day and on 31th day

Secondary

It is further expected that this study would be able to provide comparative efficacy between the ayurvedic treatment regimen & specific Diet & Exercise plan in the management of Prameha w.s.r Diabetes mellitus type 2Timepoint: on 31th day
