Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Immature permanent maxillary or mandibular single-rooted immature tooth with open apices ( >2.5mmof apical radiographic diameter) with a diagnosis of pulp necrosis with apical periodontitis with lesion or suppurative apical periodontitis and 2. Patients with no systemic health problems that might interfere with healing of apical periodontitis (ie , immunocompromised, long-term steroid usage, etc). 3. Patient not allergic to medicaments and antibiotics necessary to complete the procedure (ASA 1 or 2)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with other pulpal diagnoses. 2. Medically compromised patients. 3.Patients taking analgesics or anti-inflammatory drugs. 4. Informed consent not given.

MeasureTime frame
Laser irradiated group undergoing regenerative endodontic procedure with laser irradiation shows improved outcome in regards to molecular markers, apical closure, root wall thickening and resolution of clinical symptoms as compared to non- irradiated control group undergoing regenerative procedure in immature young permanent tooth.Timepoint: Baseline and 21 days .

To see resolution in clinical sign & symptoms as well as radiographic sign & symptoms.Timepoint: Baseline , 6 months, 12 months , 24 months , 36 months .
