Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA physical status I, II, III. Patient undergoing knee surgeries Duration of surgery: around two to three hours

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age- less than 18 and more than 65 years ASA status IV, V. Emergency surgeries. Unwilling patient. Patient with fever of any cause. Known allergy to LA

To study motor and sensory block duration and post operative analgesia in knee surgeries in both groups.Timepoint: 24 hours post operative

MeasureTime frame
study the effect of fentanyl in post operative analgesia. To monitor hemodynamic parameters in both group. To evaluate the side effects and complications, if any. Timepoint: 24 hours post operative
