Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Scheduled or unscheduled vaginal delivery of all age groups and parity Singleton or twin gestation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe medical and surgical complications History of allergy to tranexamic acid History of thrombi-embolic disorders. Antenatal complications like, abnormal placenta Placenta-previa, placenta abruption, adherent placenta, severe preeclampsia, Multiple pregnancies, macrosomia, polyhydramnios, Fibroid uterus or gynaecological disorders complicating pregnancy.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Difference in blood loss between the two groups : In women receiving tranexamic acid In women receiving placebo Timepoint: OUTCOME WILL BE ASSESSED AT THE END OF 2 YEARS

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
