Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with dyslipidemia who are not under any medication Patients from either sex with classical signs and symptoms of medoroga Patients of age group 20 to 60 years Patients with BMI equal to or more than 25 kg per meter square Grade 1 and Grade 2 obesity Total cholesterol above 5.2mmol per L or 200 mg per dL OR Triglycerides above 1.7mmol per L or150mg per dL OR LDL above 3.4 mmol per L or 130MG per Dl OR HDL less than 0.9 mmol per L or 35mg per Dl

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with severe systemic disease or other medical conditions such as hypothyroidism and Cushing s syndrome and hypersensitivity and diabetes etc that preclude participation in this study Patients with Serum Cholesterol more than 300mg per dl or Serum Triglycerides more than 450mg per dl or Serum HDL less than 20mg per dl or Serum LDL more than 200mg per dl Patients with life-limiting serious illness Pregnant and lactating mothers Cognitive impairment or congenital malformations Unwilling to participate in research

Shigru patra kashaya will induce antidyslipidemic and antioxidant effect in medoroga with special reference to dyslipidaemiaTimepoint: 30 days

MeasureTime frame
• Reduction of Anthropometric measurements, elevated lipid profile levels & improvement of antioxidants in medoroga with special reference to dyslipidaemiaTimepoint: 18 months
