Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: patients who give a written consent and successfully complete the study. any elective surgery that can be done under regional anaesthesia
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: any contraindication to regional anaesthesia, patients requiring intraoperative added sedation and conversion to general anaesthesia. patients with auditory and ocular defects; and psychiatric disorders. patients who wish to discontinue the study
