Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Fasting plasma glucose: = 126 mg/dL – 200 mg/dL 2.2-h plasma glucose: >200 mg/dL – 350 mg/dL 3.Symptoms of diabetes plus random blood glucose = 200 mg/dl. 4.HbA1C: 6.5% - 10% 5.Patients in between 40 and 60 years of either sex.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients of type-1 diabetes mellitus. 2.Cases with severe diabetic complications such as cardiac disease, nephropathy, and foot ulcer. 3.Patients with chronic diseases such as Tuberculosis, Bronchial asthma, Chronic renal failure, HIV, and Hepatitis. 4.Patient below 40 years and above 60 years. 5.Patients taking medication that may cause rapid glucose rise e.g. steroids, antipsychotics. 6.Patients with acute pancreatic damage, including pancreatic surgery. 7.Pregnancy.

MeasureTime frame
Effect of Shilajatu Darvi Yoga on Blood sugar level (Fasting & PP), HbA1c, CBC, LFT, KFT, & Lipid profile in patients of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus will be determined.Timepoint: Fasting & PP blood sugar levels at Baseline, 30th, 60th & 90th day. HbA1c, CBC, LFT, KFT & Lipid profile at Baseline & 90th day.
