Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients of Pandu between age group of 16 to 50 years of either gender 2) Patients having lakshanas such as Panduta, Akshikuta Shoth, Hrutspandan, Shishirdwesha, Aarohan Ayas, Shrama, Bhrama and Daurbalya 3) Patients suffering from mild and moderate Iron deficiency Anaemia according to WHO having Hb% as follows - Males mild - 11.0 to 12.9 gm% Moderate - 8.0 to 10.9gm% Females - mild - 11.0 to 11.9 gm% Moderate - 8.0 to 10.9 gm%

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Anaemia due to blood loss - repeated miscarriages, at menarche, post-menopausal, through other orifices and GIT due to bleeding piles, malignancies etc. 2) Pregnancy and lactation 3) All types of Anaemia other than Iron Deficiency Anaemia 4) Other major systemic diseases like Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension.

Rise in Hb%.Timepoint: at baseline and after 90 days (after the treatment)

MeasureTime frame
Clinical symptoms will be assessed.Timepoint: at baseline, 15th day, 30th day, 45th day, 60th day, 75th day, 90th day.
