Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients scheduled for elective LSCS under spinal anaesthesia ASA grade II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Emergency LSCS Known risk factors for postpartum haemorrhage Pregnancy induced hypertension or pre eclampsia Cerebrovascular disease Cardiovascular disease

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the association of post spinal hypotension with baseline perfusion indexTimepoint: Every 2 min for the first 20 mins, and after that, every 5 mins till the end of surgery

MeasureTime frame
To record total episodes of hypotension following spinal anaesthesia in both groups To record total dose of vasopressor used following spinal anaesthesia in both groupsTimepoint: Every 2 min for the first 20 mins, and after that, every 5 mins till the end of surgery
