Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children aged between 5 years and 18 years, presenting to pediatric OPD and IPD, and who are obese and overweight, as per IAP criteria

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)The parents and caretakers who do not give consent. 2)Children taking medications like (e.g., steroids, insulin, valproic acid etc.) that may affect the clinical and laboratory which that are being studied 3)Children with endocrine diseases like Cushing and Hypothyroidism, Growth hormone deficiency etc. will be excluded
