Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All trauma patient age group 18 year to 65 year of either sex need intensive care unit support with or without mechanical ventilation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients not giving informed consent Brain dead patients Failure to follow-up CCU stay or mortality with in 24 hour of admission

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To determine the association of arterial lactate level with in-hospital mortality after discharge from CCU.Timepoint: At time of admission and then every 12 hourly till the patients discharge,transfer or death

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
CCU & Hospital length of stay Duration of Mechanical ventilation CCU readmission. Need of renal replacement therapyTimepoint: 90 days
