Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Recreational athletes clinically diagnosed with PFPS by an orthopaedician. Pain provoked by at least 2 activities from running, walking, hopping, squatting, stair climbing, kneeling, or prolonged sitting. Positive Clarkes sign.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Concomitant injury or pain arising from the lumbar spine or hip, knee internal derangement. Knee meniscal or ligament injury in past 3 months. Previous knee surgery. Early OA.
