Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Cooperative children, Children with definite indications for bilateral extraction of primary teeth, Absence of any active pathology at the injection site.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Parents or caregivers who did not give consent for the study, Children allergic to lignocaine/ articaine, Presence of systemic illness, Children with underlying vascular or immunological disease, Infection at the site of the injection site, Children with communication disorders.

Single buccal infiltration of 4% articaine with 1:1,00,000 adrenaline effectively provides adequate palatal anesthesia for primary teeth extractionTimepoint: 1hour

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the pain experienced by the patient using Wong Baker’s Faces pain scale (WBFPS) while administering buccal infiltrations and palatal infiltrations (if needed)Timepoint: 1 hour
