Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Recipients of blood transfusion for the requests received In the Department of Immunohematology and blood transfusion within Kasturba Hospital, Manipal

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Recipients of red cell transfusion from outside hospitals other than KH, Manipal

MeasureTime frame
1)the prevalence of red cell alloimmunization in the recipient’s blood before transfusion. 2)identify the risk factors associated with red cell alloimmunization & in turn develop strategies to prevent alloimmunization.Timepoint: Assessment will be at the Baseline.
