Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Irrespective of serological negativity and positivity patients are included for the study 2.Patients having one or more of diagnostic criteria of Rheumatoid arthritis 3.Patients fit for Basti karma, Rooksha swedana , Paachana karma 4.Patient of either sex with the age group of 20 to 45 years 5.Recent onset and less than or equal to 5years of chronicity. 6.Considering disease activity and functional impairment STAGE 1 STAGE 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with cardiac manifestations 1. Patients with mono articular joint and fossa articular joint inflammatory changes. 2. Patients diagnosed with Degenerative Osteoarthritis, Gouty arthritis, Psoriatic arthritis, SLE, History of knee implants and total knee replacement surgeries, Pseudo gout. 3.Patients with the signs and symptoms of Pravuddha Amavatha 4.Patients having chronicity more than 5years 5.Moderate to severe cardiac insufficiency 6.Active Tuberculosis or other severe systemic infections 7.Pregnancy
