Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with previously root canal treated teeth with apical periodontitis 2. Teeth with periapical index of 3 or more 3. No overextended obturation 4. No gingival recession 5. No periodontal pocket more than 4mm

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Immunocompromised patients 2. Patients on immunosuppressive therapy, pregnant and nursing women
