Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Group I: The control group with 25 healthy controls with no deleterious habits Group II :150 Individuals with the history of tobacco usage in various forms (areca, pan, beedi, ghutka, mawa, zarda, beetle quid, mishri) Group III : 25 cases of OSCC and potentially malignant lesions.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with known systemic diseases. Individuals with occupational exposure to chemicals, iron, manganese, tin, petrol. Patients with history of chemo or radiotherapy
