Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1)Pregnant and breastfeeding women. 2)Smokers. 3)Patients with non-carious cervical lesions/restorations in mandibular and maxillary anterior teeth. 4)Patients who are unwilling to attend regular checkups for monitoring dimensional changes or unwilling to undergo gingival augmentation. 5)Patients who have undergone surgical periodontal therapy in that area. 6)Patients with unstable periodontitis
Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| a) Graft length (GL):The length (in mm) of the graft measured along the long axis using UNC-15 probe. b) Recession depth height (RDH):The distance from CEJ to gingival margin in millimeter (mm). c) Graft width (GW):The width (in mm) of the graft measured using UNC-15 probe. d) Graft dimension (GD):The dimension (in mm2) of the graft determined by examining the graft length and graft width. e) Graft thickness (GT):The mean thickness (in mm) of the soft tissue graft measured using UNC-15 probeTimepoint: immediately after graft harvesting (T0), 1 week (T1), 1 month (T2) and 3 months (T3) and 6 months (T4) | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| a) Avascular area (AA):The area (in mm2) of the bone dehiscence at the tooth in close contact with the graft. The area is determined by examining the width and length of the avascular bed using UNC-15 probe. b) Recipient bed thickness (RBT):The thickness (in mm) of the vascular recipient bed determined by UNC-15probe approximately 3mm below the mucosal zenith. c) Keratinized tissue width (KTW): It is the distance from the mucogingival junction to the marginal gingiva measured in millimeters used Williams probe. d) probing pocket depth (PPD): distance from marginal gingiva to the base of the pocket e) clinical attachment level (CAL): distance from cemento enamel junction to the base of the pocketTimepoint: Immediately after graft harvesting), 1 week (T1), 1 month (T2) and 3 months (T3) and 6 months (T4) | — |
