Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients requiring orthodontic treatment with extraction of bilateral maxillary 1st premolars. 2. Age 16-25 years old males and females. 3. Angles class I bimaxillary protrusion ,Class II Div I malocclusion(ANB=5) 4. Fully erupted maxillary teeth upto second molars. 5. Irregularity index < 4mm.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Long term use of antibiotics ,steroids and anti-inflammatory drugs. 2. Prominent canine roots ( in labial cortical bone). 3. Extreme skeletal class II mal occlusion(ANB >5) 4. History of previous orthodontic treatment. 5. History of systemic and medical illness.
