Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All females above the age of 18 years undergoing Modified Radical Mastectomy for breast carcinoma at AIIMS Raipur in the Department of General Surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Not giving consent 2. Patients with known allergy to tranexamic acid 3. Patients with bleeding disorders 4. Males undergoing modified radical mastectomy 5. Patients undergoing quilting of flap
