Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients classified under ASA I and II. 2.Patients requiring surgical extraction of impacted bilateral mandibular third molars. 3.Patients who can comprehend the pain scale used in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients classified under ASA III or greater 2. Patients under influence of alcohol. 3. Pregnant or lactating women 4. Patients with known allergies to any of the components of local anesthesia or mannitol. 5. Patients with psychiatric illness
