Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: I. patient consenting to participate. II.18-65 years age group. III.ASA physical status classification 1&2. IV. BMI 19-25 kg/m2. V. No history of allergies

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: I. Patient with neck injuries, airway or gastrointestinal illness. II. Patients with mouth opening less than 3 cm. III. Patients with risk of gastric aspiration [Obesity, pregnant woman, CKD pts] IV. Patient not consenting to participate. V. Patients with a BMI > 25 kg/m2. VI. Emergency cases.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
to assess the time taken for the insertion of the Laryngeal mask airway and the number of attempts for the device placement.Timepoint: Three hours

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
to measure the number of postoperative signs and symptoms such as cough, sore throat, lip trauma, blood on the mask and airway ventilation pressure and airway sealing pressure.Timepoint: Three hours
