Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients >18 years of age undergoing cataract surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Cataract patients having-: Glaucoma Any corneal pathology History of chronic ocular inflammation Traumatic cataract Ocular surgeries or ocular trauma in the past. Patients with any systemic disease like diabetes. Inadvertent surgery.

To assess corneal endothelial cells injury by small incision cataract surgery versus phacoemulsification in terms of Cell density Cell shape Cell size, by specular microscope.Timepoint: To assess corneal endothelial cells injury by small incision cataract surgery versus phacoemulsification in terms of Cell density Cell shape Cell size, by specular microscope pre-opertaively and 2 weeks post-operatively
